Big Bear, Ca, November 23, 2011, 4:00pm - Friday, November 25th, the Village will light up with holiday cheer as the Christmas Tree will be lit for the first time, followed by Santa and Mrs. Claus’s arrival to the Big Bear Valley. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place at Christmas Tree point at the corner of Pine Knot and The Village Drive, in the Village of Big Bear Lake. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm, with Mayor Bill Jahn lighting the Christmas Tree. Art Harriman will lead a sing a long of Christmas songs, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in the Village until 9:00pm. Everyone is invited to attend the start of the Christmas season. Remember to dress warm, bring a friend, your singing voice, and a smile.
